BEIJING, Aug 19 (Reuters) - China's cabinet has approved five nuclear power projects in a cabinet meeting hosted by Premier Li Qiang on Monday, state news agency Xinhua reported.
The approved projects include the first phase of Jiangsu Xuwei developed by a subsidiary under China National Nuclear Power.
That project, with designed capacity of 2,866 megawatts, is in the preparation stage, the company said in a filing on Monday.
